Perrie Edwards has been targeted by trolls after reports that her footballer boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be transferring clubs.
The Little Mix singer’s Instagram post has been flooded by cruel comments and messages filled with the snake emoji since the news first broke on Tuesday.
The 24 year, who has been dating Alex since November, has been sharing a number of photos from a beach side getaway with close pals.
But as rumours of a possible transfer ramped up, fuming football fans took to Perrie’s Instagram.

Comments like “you’re dating a snake” began to flood the comment feed, with some comments targeting Perrie with personal abuse.
One person simply wrote:
“Your bf is a b****y w****r leaves after all we did for him and the patience we had.”
Another added:
“Your boyfriends a snake.”
Meanwhile, another simply said:
“Babe your boyfriend is a snake and only has money on his mind?”

But fans were quick to jump to the Power singer’s defence, hitting back at the criticism and urging her to ignore the messages.
A fan rightly pointed out:
“Just because she is Alex’s girlfriend, it doesn’t mean you can send hate to her for a decision that Alex makes.”

Another fumed:
“For all the people saying it is Perrie’s fault Alex left Arsenal, it isn’t. This is truly f**king upsetting, it’s his decision.

A different person took a more lighthearted approach to the comments, adding:
