Mark, who has raised the singer from a baby, threatened to pay Troy a visit, after he warned media that he could blackmail his son and ruin his career by ‘dropping a bombshell’.

Outraged by the threats, Mark posted a reply on his Twitter, writing:
Blackmail????????? Stupid man. Got a good mind to pay you a visit!!!!

The news comes after Troy revealed to friends that he hoped that Louis’ impending fatherhood would help them bridge their fractured relationship.

Speaking to the Sunday People, a source close to Troy told the paper:
“Troy has always wanted to repair that relationship - but if Louis isn't prepared to do so, he's told a few friends he has something which would really throw a grenade into things.
“He sees it as his final shot at getting Louis' attention, and he's said he will drop the bombshell if he feels it's the only option he's got left, even though it would come as a massive shock.
“He knows it could cause another big rift within the family but is starting to feel he has nothing left to lose.”
