The star confirmed reports this week.

Made In Chelsea favourite Louise Thompson is set to leave the show this season, as she prepares to move stateside to live with Alik Alfus.

The 25-year old, who started dating her American boyfriend following last summer’s spin-off show in New York, confirmed reports that she is planning to live with Alik in New York.

The couple have been in a long-distance relationship for a number of months, after Alik left London to return home to run the family business.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Louise said she’ll be absent from the E4 show from early 2016, following her move:

“I planned that I was going to move to New York at the end of this year, in a moment of madness, but I was really set on it, so I told Alik and made the commitment.

“Now, things are taking a little bit longer, wrapping up life, getting Visas and stuff, so it’s more likely to be the beginning of next year. He moved here for seven or eight months, so it’s definitely my turn!”

The star has rejected the idea of leaving MIC permanently, saying she feels she owes a lot to the show:

“(The producers) know I wanna move to New York so I’m not going to be able to film everyday so maybe I’d film once or twice a series.

“I’d never leave permanently because it’s doing so well, and I don’t think there’s any point leaving until you have something solid lined up. I think those people who just leave thinking better things are going to be thrown their way, that’s not how it works.

“They’ve done me so many favours, they’ve made me who I am. Like I’ve grown up on the show. I think it would end amicably.”

The news comes as speculation mounts that Louise’s ex Spencer Matthews will also quit this season.
