Millie Bobby Brown’s recent transformation to a blondie has rumours flying online

The 21-year-old attended the premiere of her latest movie, The Electric State, on Monday, February 24th, when she talked about her interest in playing Britney Spears in a future biopic. 

While speaking to Access Hollywood on the red carpet, she was asked about her newly dyed blonde hair and if it might have anything to do with the '90s pop singer.

"I mean, she is an absolute icon," she told the publication before adding, "I would love nothing more than to be a part of her story." 

Brown went on to say, "that's her story, and I am in full support of her bringing her story to life how she wants to." 

People are even digging up past interviews, during which the actress spoke of wanting to play Spears on screen.

During an interview on The Drew Barrymore Show in November 2022, she said: "I want to play a real person and I think for me, Britney. [It] would be Britney Spears. 

“I think her story, first of all, resonates with me." 

She said she has always felt like she could relate to the singer and said: "I don't know her, but when I look at pictures [and videos] of her, I feel like I could tell her story in the right way and hers only."

It is understood that the movie rights to Spears' 2023 memoir, The Woman in Me, were bought by Universal Pictures back in August 2024. 

Universal announced that a biopic was officially in the works and despite not being officially linked to the project, there's still a chance fans could see Brown in the movie about Spears' life.
