One of the stars of Modern Family has been spotted out and about in Dublin.

Actor Nolan Gould has played the youngest of the Dunphy siblings, Luke, in the popular ABC sitcom for the last eight seasons.

And it looks like he decided to ring in 2018 with a bit of travelling – and a pint of Guinness.

The 19-year-old posted a picture on Tuesday evening of himself standing in the Gravity Bar at the Guinness Storehouse.

He captioned the picture:

“Starting 2018 off right by touring Dublin.

“Tried my first pint of @guinness at the Guiness brewery (drinking age is 18!)

“So grateful for where I’m at in life right now.”

Modern Family was renewed for a ninth and tenth season in May 2017.

ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey told the Hollywood Reporter at the time:

Modern Family has been the centerpiece of our comedy brand for eight seasons and we are thrilled to have it on our schedule for two more years.

“Steve and Chris have created such endearing characters, and the cast is second-to-none.”

The ninth season began airing in the United States in September 2017.

The series has won 22 Emmy awards to date, including the one for Outstanding Comedy Series for the first five seasons.
