One place that’s on the Her.ie holiday wish list is Brazil, which has nothing to do with that fact that currently it is a haven for attractive male sports stars, it is just that we're keen to upload a picture of Christ the Redeemer statue to Instagram, that’s all. We promise.
Our 'Pic of the Day' comes thanks to Aine Staunton, who rarely leaves the lovely village of Toormakeady without her Mayo jersey.
Aine and her boyfriend Sean, a Roscommon man, are currently taking a break away from their teaching schedules in Dubai and are holidaying in Brazil for the World Cup… We’re not jealous at all.
Aine’s friend Jackie Duffy got in touch with us after spotting this image and thought it “deserves a shout out”, and we couldn’t agree more.
Christ, it's just himself in the Mayo colours.
We have to give the pair 10 out of 10 for holiday snap originality.
We wish the pair a fantastic trip and a safe journey back home to Irish soil for Aine’s sister’s wedding in August.
