Jake Gyllenhaal underwent quite the transformation for Nightcrawler and now it has been revealed that he had to do the same sort of thing for Southpaw.
For the former the actor lost a good bit of weight but for the latter, which is a boxing drama, he had to bulk up for the role.
Golden Globe Awards tweeted out a picture of the 33-year-old and let’s just say he appears to have been hitting the gym rather hard.
The caption read: “The incredible transformation of Jake Gyllenhaal for upcoming boxing drama ‘Southpaw.’ #actors #movies”.
