The singer is setting the record straight.

Jennifer Lopez is 51 years of age and it's no secret, she looks bloody fantastic. Every time the woman gets a hair cut or posts a new beauty routine, the internet is awash with claims that she's some sort of time-travelling wizard, and honestly, I read the theories because to quote one of the great cinematic lines of our time: "I'll have what she's having." Of course, because the internet is the way it is (a raging dumpster fire), not everyone is willing to believe that the singer has achieved her age-defying looks simply by using face masks and sunscreens. Jlo has been labelled a 'liar' for not admitting to injectable procedures such as Botox and it seems she's had enough. This all started when Lopez posted a video on her Instagram where she showed off her pristine skin after using a face mask from her new beauty range. Jlo responded to the comment in a light-hearted manner saying:

"LOL thats just my face!!! ….For the 500 millionth time… I have never done Botox or any injectables or surgery!! Just sayin."

In an interview with People magazine, she's now reiterating her claims of natural skincare saying she would never judge anybody: "If you want to do Botox and injectables, that's fine!" Lopez said in the interview, "But I don't want people lying on me and saying, 'Oh, she's trying to make believe that this stuff works'. The star went on to plead with people not to call her a liar, "No, I'm telling you what I do that works! Please don't call me a liar. I don't have to lie about things. I've been pretty honest about my whole life." Lads, let's not forget one thing, Jlo's skin has always been unreal. Do you remember Glow? The celebrity perfume that provided the scent of 2002, the fragrance was based on her glow. Did it turn us into Jlo? Absolutely not. Did we still buy it? 100 per cent.   When it comes to beauty and skincare, Lopez has talked about the importance of getting enough sleep in the past, she wears sunscreen every single day, avoids smoking, alcohol and caffeine but most importantly she believes one of her big beauty secrets is being kind; "I try to be kind to others and lift up other women." You can't argue with that, but also don't argue with Jlo... she's a wizard.
