Liam Hemsworth has shared an Instagram post confirming his split from Miley Cyrus.
The actor posted a picture of a sunset this morning, along with confirmation that he and his wife had separated.
He wished her “nothing but health and happiness” and said that he would not be making any comments to the media regarding the situation.

“Hi all,” he wrote.
“Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.
“This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false.
“Peace and Love.”
Miley announced her split from Liam over the weekend, saying that the pair had decided to focus on themselves and their careers.

“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” her rep told PEOPLE.
“Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.
“They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
One week before, a rep for Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter also told PEOPLE that the couple had decided to end their marriage.
Miley was seen kissing Kaitlynn in Lake Como while they holidayed over the weekend.

Miley and Liam have had an on-again-off-again relationship since 2009 when they met on the set of The Last Song.
They married in December of last year.
