“A huge thank you to the incredible staff”

Richie Sadlier has praised the staff at Holles Street Hospital for taking such good care of his wife Fiona, as well as their newborn son Sam.

The couple finally became parents last Friday when Fiona gave birth to their baby boy.

Both Richie and Fiona had opened up about their fertility struggles in the past, but they have finally welcomed their firstborn into the world.

Sports pundit Richie thanked the staff for taking care of his family.

Alongside a photo of his family in hospital, the proud dad wrote;

“Couldn’t let this week pass without saying a huge thank you to the incredible staff at Holles St Hospital who took such good care of Fiona and Sam.

Special thanks to Rachael, Olivia, and Alison for minding us all during the labour and delivery.

“Most of all, thanks to our consultant, Dr. David Crosby for being so sound, supportive, and available to Fiona during the pregnancy and throughout her stay in the hospital.”

“Delighted to share the happy news that Fiona gave birth to our gorgeous little son, Sam, last Friday.

“I won’t even try and put into words how incredible this past week has been for us, but for now, just wanna say a huge thanks for all the lovely messages and well-wishes we received throughout the pregnancy.

“It was lovely knowing there were so many people rooting for this chapter of our story to have a happy ending.”

“The biggest thanks of all goes to Fiona for never giving up hope that one day we’d feel this way.”
