Robert Downey Jr. is somewhat of a legend here at Her Towers and this week has truly proved himself to be a real-life hero.
The Iron Man star presented a seven-year-old fan with a bionic arm in a video that will make your heart melt.
Little Alex Pring, who was born without most of his right arm, was presented with the 3D-printed bionic Iron Man arm by Downey earlier this week.
The actor is working with the Collective Project, an organisation behind Limbitless, which helps to deliver mechanical prostheses around the world for children in need.
“Had the absolute privilege of presenting a brand spanking new 3D-printed bionic Iron Man arm to Alex, the most dapped 7-year-old I’ve ever met,” Downey wrote on his Facebook page.
“Special thanks to Albert Manero, OneNote and #CollectiveProject for their work making artificial limbs like this more affordable for families with kids who want to show the playground how badass they are.”
