Rupert Grint joins Instagram with first pic of him and baby daughter

Ron Weasley, is now an insta dad!

I think this is one of the nicest ways to join Instagram, taking the coveted spot of Rupert Grint's (aka Ron Weasley) first grid pic on the gram is an adorable shot of him and his six-month-old daughter.

Also, wait until you hear the name they chose!

Rupert Grint popped up on Instagram for the first time yesterday, and just to showcase the staying power of Harry Potter, the actor who portrayed our favourite Weasley in the popular film franchise has already amassed over two million followers!

Rupert joins a few other Harry Potter co-stars on the platform, Emma Watson, Tom Felton and Matthew Lewis to name a few.

We are yet to see Harry, aka Daniel Radcliffe, log on but we're sure as soon as he does fans will be all over that!

The actor posted a gorgeous pic of him sitting in a bright yellow chair with his little girl in his arms, captioning it: "Hey Instagram....only 10 years late, but here I am. Grint on the Gram! Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint. Stay safe, Rupert"

That's right the 32-year-old actor and his girlfriend Georgia Groome, of Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging fame, named their little girl Wednesday and we love it.

Wednesday Grint, sounds like someone right out of the Harry Potter books.

Wednesday was born in May of this year, and it's the couples first child together. They were keeping things quite private when Wednesday first arrived, their publicist, Clair Dobbs said at the time: “Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl. We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time.”

Rupert hasn't been quiet about wanting to start a family, a few years ago he told The Guardian after he turned 30 "I’d like to settle down and have kids soon. If I had a son, would I call him Ron? It’s quite a good name, but probably not. And Grint’s a tough name to pair a one-syllable first name with."

Welcome to the gram Grints!
