Stacey Solomon gets real about body shaming and we LOVE what she has to say

Olivia Hayes

She’s always so bubbly and upbeat.

Stacey Solomon would light up any room she enters. However – for some unknown reason – people feel the need to insult her online. Whether it’s mean comments about her body or nasty feedback on her Loose Women shows, Stacey knows only too well about online trolls.

She recently launched a collection with Primark (which we absolutely adore) and the TV star refused to photoshop any of the campaign images, something that she is being highly praised for.

In a recent episode of Loose Women, the panel spoke about body positivity – something that Stacey is a keen advocate for.

“We recently covered the topic which encouraged people to be comfortable in their own bodies,” she explained.

“I really enjoyed that because everyone should love themselves because we’re all great people.”

Stacey is passionate about people loving the skin they’re in, especially since she’s been body shamed online. She believes that whether it’s fat or skinny shaming, nobody should give into online trolls.

“If somebody is mean to you, it’s their issue, it’s what they are conditioned to believe.

“Everyone is different and that’s a wonderful thing. It would be a really boring world if we were all the same.”

Stacey’s Primark collection is available in stores now.
