Irish influencer Chloe Koyce has issued a statement after the man who followed her into her hotel received a suspended sentence.
The influencer was left shaken after a man followed her into her hotel in Dublin in March 2025.
After a night out, a man followed her into a hotel lift after a night out in Dublin. Koyce revealed the man was holding a belt in his hand when he followed her into the lift.
According to The Independent, 24-year-old Denis Morris pleaded guilty to stalking the influencer.
Writing on Instagram, Chloe said justice was served.
“Today, justice was handed down in court. Denis Morris stood before the court for stalking me. For following me from a public street into my hotel, into a lift, and towards my room. What he did changed my life. It left me anxious and afraid in places I should have felt safe," Chloe said.
“Today, she [the judge] sentenced him to six months in prison, suspended for twelve months. While he walked out of that courtroom, I walked out stronger."
Chloe continued, “I want to sincerely thank Detective Garda Eamon Leen for taking this case seriously from the very beginning – for listening, for acting, and for making sure my voice was heard. That support mattered more than words can say."

“Stalking is now a crime in Ireland under the Criminal Justice (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2023. That matters. The law finally recognises that this behaviour is dangerous, traumatic, and not something to dismiss. I am proud that my case stands as part of that change.”
“Most of all, I am proud that sharing my story has encouraged other women to come forward. If my voice helped even one woman feel less alone, then every difficult moment was worth it. This is about accountability. It’s about awareness. And not being afraid to come forward."
“People deserve to know his name: Denis Morris. And I will never be ashamed of telling my story,” Chloe stressed.
