Grey shot to fame in 1987 after her star turn opposite Patrick Swayze in the romantic classic Dirty Dancing. Her most notable role up to that point was as Matthew Broderick's sister in John Hughes' Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
In the early 90s, Jennifer opted for a series of rhinoplasty procedures, completely altering the look of her face. Years later, she spoke of how the procedure had affected her, saying: "I went in the operating room a celebrity and came out anonymous. It was like being in a witness protection program or being invisible."
She even admitted to considering a name change to restart her career, but ultimately decided against it. In 1994, she landed the guest spot in Friends... looking very different from her Dirty Dancing days.
