She was photographed with a smile on her face and the world nearly stopped.
Victoria Beckham showed her funny side this week after social media nearly came to a standstill as the former Spice Girl was photographed smiling.

It looks like Victoria is well aware of the comments made about the fact she doesn’t smile in photographs and so took to Instagram on Monday night to share the rare image of herself with a smile – and thus pre-empting a number of articles – adding the caption: “Yes she smiled! I’m happy!”
Fans were delighted with the p*ss take but really, it’s no wonder she was smiling as she scooped a top award at the American Glamour of The Year Awards for her work as a fashion designer and philanthropist.

She accepted the accolade from her son Brooklyn and he also took to Instagram to share a jokey snap with followers.
As much as we love these pictures of Victoria, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to look back at some of our other favourite (and non-smiling) photos of her.
