27 Dresses is on TV tonight and that's our Saturday night sorted.
The romantic comedy is on E4 at 6.45pm tonight.
The movie, which stars Katherine Heigl and James Marsden, had all the makings of a really, really good rom-com.
There’s plenty of witty comebacks, home decor #goals, a few exclamations of ‘you lied to me!’, a musical number and at least one good smooch.
It followed the ever-loyal, perennial bridesmaid Jane - who had literally been a bridesmaid 27 times (she kept all the dresses to prove it).
After years of hiding her feelings for her boss, George, Jane gets blindsided when he proposes to her sister, Tess, after a whirlwind romance.

Jane ends up agreeing to be her sister's wedding planner, which leads to her spending more and more time with the reporter covering the wedding, Kevin - whom she cynically dismisses due to her own broken heart.
But after a few rom-com-worthy nights - including one that ends up with them belting out
Bennie and the Jets on top of a bar - Jane begins to realise that there may be more to Kevin than meets the eye.
So grab the popcorn and settle in, because this is one that's definitely worth watching tonight.

In 2018, Heigl opened up about her ideas for a sequel to the iconic romantic comedy.
"I have this whole concept that I really want them to do a sequel about. I think that maybe it’s not 10 years later in their relationship, maybe it’s only 5 or 6 years, but she’s not getting pregnant," she told
InStyle.
"She’s everybody’s godmother, but she doesn’t have her own. I
so want to do that sequel. I think it would be really sweet and charming and interesting.
27 Christenings!"
