Well lads, it's all happening tonight. It's Valentine's Day. It's Friday. It's a recoupling on Love Island and the unceremonious dumping of one of the girls. Unfortunately in this case, it was Shaughna - a genuinely harrowing result for the gals, tbh. Tonight's recoupling came in the midst of Demi deciding that she wanted to crack on with Luke M, before deciding that she also wanted to get to know new boy Jamie, before getting upset that Shaughna also (for some reason) decided that she was interested in Luke M too. It was all a bit of a mess really, and seemingly the only way to remedy it all was for Shaughna to be dumped. You truly do hate to see it. https://twitter.com/LoveIsland/status/1228382289870151680?s=20 Tonight's decision was, of course, all up to Luke M who decided to go with both his heart and his gut and choose Demi to couple up with. Luke M justified his reasons for picking Demi by stating that they always had a laugh, and that he wanted to change her luck in the villa. And in fairness to him, he could have easily been talking about Shaughna too - but he wasn't. Such is the game. But tonight's recoupling wasn't all doom and gloom. It also saw Finn pretty much declare his undying love for Paige. Well, alright, he didn't do exactly that but he did say that he was really excited to meet her dog, and that's pretty much the same thing, isn't it? So far, Finn and Paige are the only couple to actually make things official and start a relationship - however it is looking very likely that Siannise and Luke T won't be too far behind.
