5 new additions to Netflix which are worth checking out this weekend

Another week, another huge batch of Netflix additions.

The streaming service have been a the top of their game lately, with plenty of fantastic and jaw-dropping additions.

From Russian Doll to Dirty John; Velvet Buzzsaw to The Umbrella Academy and just about everything in between, there’s been no shortage of binge-worthy additions.

And this weekend is no exception.

Criminal 

Criminal is a police procedural with a unique premise: it takes place exclusively within the confines of a police interview suite.

This stripped down, cat-and-mouse drama will focus on the intense mental conflict between the police officer and the suspect in question.

Vagabond 

Vagabond is a story about a stuntman Cha Dal-geon, played by Lee Seung-gi, who gets involved in a tragic airplane crash and ends up discovering a national corruption scandal in the process.

Bae Suzy plays Go Hae-ri, the oldest daughter of a deceased marine, who decides to work for the National Intelligence Service as a secret ops agent in order to support her mom and younger siblings, although all she wanted to do is to become a civil servant.

Between Two Ferns: The Movie

Zach Galifianakis dreamed of becoming a star. But when Will Ferrell discovered his public access TV show Between Two Ferns and uploaded it to Funny Or Die, Zach became a viral laughing stock.

Now Zach and his crew are taking a road trip to complete a series of high-profile celebrity interviews and restore his reputation.

When the Camellia Blooms

When the Camellia Blooms is a story of Dongbaek, an orphan who grew up to become a single mom. She owns a small bar, also called ‘Dongbaek’ which means camellia in English.

Her life takes a new turn after meeting Yongsik, a do-gooder police officer in their small town.

They fall in love despite social stigma against single parenthood. Yongsik, having been raised by a single mom himself, understands Dongbaek’s challenges and embraces her dearly.
