If like us you're strapped for cash, let that not stop you from having the craic on Women's Little Christmas. Have a few of you're nearest and dearest over for tea and chats and just take the afternoon to relax and catch up. Alternatively, why not bundle the whole gang into the car and get some fresh air on one of these gorgeous walks? Pack a picnic and grab some takeaway coffees and Bob's your uncle!
3) Go for a few early drinks
Aside from their delicious brunch, you can hop on down to The River Club in the afternoon as from 4:30- 8:30 pm DJ Aoife O’Neill will be spinning a few records. If you're feeling a bit peckish, a small plates menu will be available to accompany your cocktails (i.e. an offer you can't refuse!)
4) Grab some tapas in Arthur Maynes
Get the halloumi fries and rustic potatoes, you won't be disappointed! If you've never visited before, Maynes is located on Pembrook Street in the city centre. It's a gorgeous little candle-lit wine bar that used to be an old chemist. Every inch of the place is stocked up with vintage paraphernalia and the vibe is very chilled. Such a nice place to relax with a few close friends.
5) ABBA Tribute Night
If you're going all guns blazing, Cyprus Avenue is hosting an ABBAesque event at 8 pm tonight. Tickets are €15 and are available here.
