Liberty finally confronts Jake on tonight’s Love Island

Is Jiberty in jeopardy?

On the last episode of Love Island, it seemed that Liberty was hitting a rock in her relationship with Jake.

While this couple has been paired up since the start, they’ve had some rocky moments along the way.

Chiefly, Liberty was understandably upset after she discovered during Movie Night that Jake wasn’t super attracted to her during the early stages of their relationship.

Then, last night, Liberty exhibited further doubts after Jake’s behaviour made her feel uncomfortable.

After helping Tyler ask Kaz to go exclusive, Liberty and Jake watched on as the happy couple broke the news to their fellow islanders.

When Liberty made moves to run and embrace Kaz, Jake told her to stop and wait, a move that didn’t go down well with our girl Lib, nor the viewers at home.

She later confided in Chloe that she was feeling a bit fed up with Jake, particularly after he went a day without hanging out with her.

Tonight’s episode will see Liberty bring these doubts directly to Jake.

Pulling him for a chat, Lib says: “I haven’t really spoken to you today. What’s going on?”

Jake replies with: “You tell me what’s going on.”

She says: “I do feel like since the whole rip the clothes off challenge, I’ve been noticing a lot of similar things that have accumulated.”

Liberty then tells him she’s noticed they’ve been spending less time together, to which Jake replies: “I don’t know what more I can say. You are my girlfriend. You are part of me.”

Later, in the beach hut, Liberty says: “He hasn’t given me a reason not to trust him so why am I letting trust issues from the past affect that?”

The two then come face-to-face on the terrace, where Jake tells her: “I’m at my happiest when I’m with you. Me and you together are very well-suited, and we are made for each other. That’s how I see things?”

But will this be enough to reassure Liberty?

Love Island continues tonight at 9 pm on Virgin Media One and on the Virgin Media Player.
