7 movies on Netflix that are the ultimate throwback treat

Orlaith Condon

Remember these classics?

Sundays and movies go together like Ross and Rachel, as much as you want to explore other options, something always draws you back.

And while we’re always delighted to see new releases on Netflix, sometimes it’s good to rewatch some of the movies we loved the first time around.

Yes, the movies that have a soft spot in our hearts, the ones that we watched on sleepovers with our friends, and the ones that if we watched them for the first time now we’d roll our eyes but we can’t help think they’re cinematic genius.

We’re not going deep into the archives, but we’re talking the 00s classics that we loved as teens.

Here are seven that are worth the trip down memory lane.

1. Bring It On: All Or Nothing

Plot: Cheer caption Britney plans to have her squad earn a coveted spot in singing sensation Rihanna’s video but must think fast when her plan is derailed.

2. Just My Luck

3. Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging

4. 13 Going on 30

5. Sydney White

Plot: After discovering that her sorority is a nasty, backhanded clique, a disenchanted college freshman takes up with a group of seven outcasts.

6. Uptown Girls
