A ‘Gossip Girl’ reboot may be on the cards

S and the gang could be returning to our screens...

Aside from Sex and the City, there's no other show that made us fall in love with New York City than Gossip Girl. The teen drama followed the lives of the wealthy youth living on the Upper East Side, including their love lives, job prospects and most importantly the evasion of the dreaded Gossip Girl finding out their secrets. We watched the ins and outs of relationships between characters such as Serena van der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, Dan Humphrey, Nate Archibald, Chuck Bass, Vanessa Abrams and Jenny Humphrey as they navigated their way through a privileged adolescence. Fans of Gossip Girl will know the series ended with the marriage of Serena to Dan but apparently, there may be more to tell in the GG saga. According to E! News, the producers of the hit CW show told of how they wouldn't rule out a revival of the once extremely successful series.

"We haven't really explored some of those [Gossip Girl] conversations... "Maybe, I don't know. We haven't really thought about it."

Stars have the show have shown more urgent hunger for the show to return, with actor Sebastian Stan (who played Carter Baizen) revealing he and other members of the cast had discussed the idea.

"I would do it, why not? I got Jessica Szohr and Chace Crawford..." "I don't know what the rest are up to, but I'd be down. Why not?"

Even Blake Lively who played the infamous role of Serena told of how she'd like to see a revival of the show.

"We had such a great time doing that that I think we all would really enjoy that."
