Amanda Peterson passed away on Sunday at the age of 43.
It is thought that the actress, who was best known for her role as Cindy Mancini in Can’t Buy Me Love, died at her home in Greeley, Colorado.
Speaking to TMZ, her father said: “She had some illness and a sleep apnea problem that may have contributed”.

She went on to star in a number of other films, including Explorers (1985), The Lawless Land (1988), Listen To Me (1989) and Windrunner (1994).
Amanda retired from show business a number of years ago.
She is survived by her second husband, David Hartley, and her two children.
