Rumours have been circulating recently that there could be a third instalment of the Princess Diaries – but Disney hasn’t given it a green light just yet.
But after several Princess Diaries alumni voiced their enthusiasm to see Mia Thermopiles on the big screen once again – we’re at least hoping they’re thinking about it.
Another person who is hoping to see the Princess Diaries hit the cinema screen again is Raven-Symone.
The actress, who is currently starring on Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven spinoff Raven’s Home, played Princess Asana in the second instalment of the franchise.
And it turns out she’s equally as enthusiastic about the possible film as fans are.
When quizzed if she would be willing to reprise her role, she told Buzzfeed:
“Do I get to sing with Julie Andrews again?! Yeah, I’m going back on Princess Diaries 3!
“If I get to sing with Julie Andrews again, that would be awesome!
“I mean, I’m a Mary Poppins fan, so that’s just heaven for me.”
It comes after writer Meg Cabot revealed last month that a script for Princess Diaries 3 does exist.
She told Entertainment Weekly:
“So, who knows? [It] could happen, as we say.”
