We would love to see this happen.

Adele could be about to branch out from the music scene after being approached by producers to join a new movie. She has reportedly been asked to play Nancy in Oliver, with nonother than Eddie Redmayne as Fagin.

It’s in very early stages but, according to The Sun, they’re both in talks for the movie. The classic musical will be brought to life on the big screen.

Eddie has already proven his singing ability after his appearance in the 2012 movie Les Misérables, while we all know Adele is more than capable of belting out the tunes.

Eddie has previously joked about how he had a minor role in a stage production of the story while in school, so no doubt he would like to outdo himself once and for all. Fagin would be the ideal role for him and with Adele by his side, it’s sure to be a crowd pleaser.

An insider told The Sun:

“Eddie has always wanted to play the part of Fagin.

It’s a role that has been close to him since he was a child so this is a great opportunity and he’s keen.

He was in the stage production of Oliver! directed by Sam Mendes when he was ten but didn’t get to be part of the gang and he has never given up on that dream.

Eddie thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of singing live during filming for Les Mis and is excited at the prospect of doing it all over again in this.”
