Adele turned down the Super Bowl half-time show in the most Adele way possible

If there's one thing you can count on from Adele, it's for her to tell it like it is, with no airs and graces.

That's her style, and the world bloody adores her for it. For the past week, rumour has it (sorry) that Adele was being lined up to perform during the half-time show during next year's Super Bowl final in the US. That gig has become one of the biggest, most high-profile and, one can imagine, insanely lucrative slots in all of entertainment. "First of all, I'm not doing the Super Bowl," she said. "I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don't really — I can't dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I did say no. I'm sorry, but maybe next time."
