A lovely tradition.

As more and more details trickle out about the royal wedding, there's one thing we know for sure that Meghan will do on the big day. Many families have customs they like to incorporate into their nuptials in some way and the royals are no different. In keeping with her new in-laws' family tradition, Meghan will have some myrtle in her bouquet. The flower symbolises love and marriage and has been included in every royal bridal bouquet since Queen Victoria got married all the way back in 1840. The myrtle will come from a bush that once belonged to Queen Victoria, according to the Telegraph. It was given to the queen by her husband Prince Albert's grandmother as a gift from his native Germany and was planted in her garden at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight where Victoria used to sit and paint watercolours. Queen Elizabeth, Lady Diana and Kate Middleton all included a piece of myrtle from that garden in their bouquets for their weddings, so it's fairly certain that Meghan will keep the tradition going when she marries Prince Harry in May. We wonder whether any traditions from Meghan's family will be brought into the big day...
