“Alright, Alright, Alright” Matthew McConaughey And Christopher Nolan Take Comic Con By Storm

We are SO EXCITED!

In just one day at Comic Con, we have heard more movie news than we have for the entire year but there were certainly a couple of surprises in there that no one was expecting.

In Hall H yesterday, Matthew McConaughey turned up with none other than Christopher Nolan to promote their new film Interstellar. Basically, the entire Hall went into meltdown, this was Nolan’s first time at Comic Con and let’s just say, he is King of the Nerds.

Nolan went through some of the ideas behind Interstellar while still remaining completely vague of course about the entire thing. Then he showed the audience the new trailer for the film but only for the Comic Con crowd.

McConaughey did talk a little about his character: “Cooper is a pilot, an engineer and a widowed pilot of two children where civilization is just sustaining,” the Oscar-winner explained. “There’s food, clean water, but they don’t need any explorers, no new bright ideas. Then something happens and the dream of being a pilot again knocks on his door.”

The film is due for release here in November.
