"I never knew he liked strawberries so much."

Amir Khan's wife Faryal has had her say on her husband's antics in the I'm A Celebrity jungle. Speaking on ITV's This Morning, she said she was "shocked" over Amir eating the strawberries he'd won for his campmates with Iain. "That’s not something Amir would do so I was absolutely shocked," she said. "I actually had my mouth open for about two minutes. I guess he was really hungry. I never knew he liked strawberries so much, so I’ll make sure to have some ready for him when he comes home. "I guess they were all just hungry and frustrated because usually he’s quite sharing, in the beginning he gave his meal ticket to Stanley, but I guess that was the beginning and the hunger wasn’t really getting to him. "So I don’t know if it was a bit of banter or what, because it’s not something Amir would do." She also said that she finds it "boring" when Amir isn't doing Bushtucker Trials on the  show. "When I did see he was getting voted quite a lot to do the trials, I think he got voted three or four times in a row, I felt so bad and I was praying he wouldn’t get voted again. "I feel so bad when he’s doing the trials but the days he’s not doing the trials, I find it so boring and not entertaining because no one screams like him." Amir came into the reality show after months of marital trouble. He accused Faryal of moving on to boxer Anthony Joshua on Twitter after being with him and insisted the pair were divorcing. She meanwhile hinted that their marriage wasn't over, tweeting that she and Amir should "put their differences aside and start afresh."
