Ant McPartlin and his wife have reportedly parted ways.

After 23 years together, the TV presenter and his other half Lisa Armstrong are said to be living ‘separate lives’.

Ant is due to head off to Australia to host the new series of I’m A Celebrity with on-screen other half Dec, which starts on 19 November.

He’ll also take some time out there to weigh everything up, according to The Sun, while Lisa, who is the head makeup artist on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, will stay in the UK.

“Ant is spending time apart from Lisa — he’s said he needs space and everyone respects that,” a source told the paper.

“They are effectively leading separate lives while he re-evaluates everything.”

He has moved out of the home the couple share in West London and moved into a rented house a few streets away.

The pair met while performing at a concert in Newcastle in 1994 and married in 2006.

Ant spent two months in rehab earlier this year for an addiction to painkillers he developed after a knee operation.

His role presenting I’m A Celeb was uncertain until recently, though it’s been confirmed that he’s well enough to do the show again this year.

“It’s going to be a make or break few weeks as they decide how they feel about each other,” the source added.

“But the sad reality is that it’s not looking positive that the marriage will survive long-term.”

There’s still some hope that the split might not be permanent as Lisa has been spotted out and about wearing her wedding ring.

She also retweeted a fan video of her and Ant’s best moments just two days ago.

Fingers crossed they work everything out.
