I'm A Celeb viewers have noticed that Ant's watch is covered whenever he's on the live shows. Sometimes it's out of shot when he has a long sleeved top covering it, and other times it's in plain sight. It's led some viewers to question the reason for it and doubt whether the show is actually live, like they say it is.

Ant confirmed on Twitter that the reason he does this is so that the celebrities don't know what time it is when they enter camp. According to The Mirror, anyone who is in contact with the celebs, like Bob the medic or producers, don't wear watches or have them covered. Scarlett Moffatt, who hosts the sister show, The Extra Camp, and won last's year's show, said that she thought it was to make the celebrities disorientated. She even said that one time they all got into their beds at 4pm, thinking it was much later, and the producers had to come in and tell them it was much earlier than bedtime.
