Applications for Winter Love Island are still open – so sure, why not?

Busy in January, or?

Winter Love Island is due to kick off in a mere few weeks (January 12, don’t you know?), and although that date is indeed not that far away at all, applications for the series are still open.

Not that anybody actually gets on the show via an application form, but listen, Instagram stars are people too.

This time, however, it appears as if Love Island producers may be looking for contestants a little bit different.

Or at least, they say they are.

According to the application – which is open until January 11 – ITV2 are “looking for vibrant singles from across the UK who want to head to the Winter sun, in search of love.”

“The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island.”

The upcoming series, which is the first of its kind, kicks off on January 12 in Cape Town, South Africa.

Caroline Flack recently announced that she was pulling out of the show following her assault charge. This is the first time that she won’t be presenting the series since it returned to ITV in 2015.

Her replacement, if there will be one, has yet to be announced.

You can check out the application form for Winter Love Island – or God forbid, apply – here.
