The Apprentice candidates have been revealed and one Irish contestant looks very familiar

We're looking forward to it starting.

Remember this guy?

The Apprentice is back on our screens on October 5th and the line-up has just been revealed.

The enthusiastic driven contestants have already given us their best one-liners such as the unattributed “I am the next billion dollar unicorn” and “VIP, it’s the only way to be. I always say look VIP, act VIP and Be VIP.”

Among the 18 contestants that have now been revealed, two of them are Irish, and you may recognise one man from his previous TV appearance.

People may remember Dillon St Paul from his appearance on RTE’s reality show Fade Street alongside Vogue Williams in 2011.

The 37-year-old was also formerly the art director of Stellar Magazine.

Now as a contestant on the fast-paced business show Dillon describes himself as super-creative, talented, kind and very funny.

“He intends to be ‘Machiavellian’ about tasks and says he will tell white lies if he needs to.”

The introductory quote from him for The Apprentice is:

“Sometimes batting the eyelashes can get you a lot in business. Hence, the mascara comes in handy – so they can see those lashes.”

Another Irish contestant set to star on the new season is make-up artist Grainne McCoy.

Grainne is from Northern Ireland who says she is confident that her self-belief and strong-mindedness will see her through the tasks.

“I need guidance and a little bit of mentoring to help me make that first million.” She said.

The other contestants range between the ages of 24 and 37 and work in areas such as IT, property and clothing.

The show has changed from the regular Wednesday slot to a Thursday for this series.

We look forward to the return of the show to see how these guys get on.
