We were overcome with excitement when we heard that there was going to be a Toy Story 4 released in 2015.
But the dream of seeing Buzz and Woody on the big screen again was soon cut short by Disney who has now denied the rumours.
Toy Story has spawned three successful films already.
A representative for Walt Disney Pictures said that “nothing official” has been announced with regards to another sequel.
The whispers began earlier this week when a radio executive tweeted that the flick was due for release in two years’ time.
Finding Nemo 2 is set for a release in 2016.
But never fear, Pixar are working on two other projects at the moment including the prequel to Monsters Inc (Monsters University) as well as Finding Nemo 2.
And also, Disney only said that “nothing official” has been announced which means there’s still a glimmer of hope for another outing with our favourite toys!
