After a whirlwind romance, news broke this morning that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson had called off their engagement after five months of dating.
Yes, the pair shocked fans when they announced they were to be married back in May, just weeks after we learned they were dating, and now they’ve decided to call time of their relationship.
With many taking to social media to share their commentary on the situation, we haven’t heard anything from Ariana or Pete on the split as of yet.
Ariana has however posted for the first time since news broke.
Taking to Instagram just a short while ago, Ariana announced an upcoming project to mark the 15th anniversary of her favourite musical.
“Honoured to be included in this celebration of 15 years of my favourite musical of all time. Wouldn’t miss it for the whole universe.”

According to reports this morning, Ariana, 25, and Pete, 24, decided that it simply “wasn’t the right time” for them to be together.
The pair didn’t shy away from the spotlight while together; posting images of each other to Instagram and stepping out together regularly.
They also got a number of tattoos for each other, including matching clouds on their fingers. Pete also had her last name, Grande, inked across his ribs.
Ariana, who has a song called ‘Pete Davidson’ on her recent album Sweetener, announced last week that she was taking a break from music to “take care of myself for a little while.”
