Awkward: Here’s what happened after McGregor left that awards show

Quite a night.

Sounds like Conor McGregor had quite a night after the Fashion Awards.

After the UFC star attended the event in London on Tuesday night, he made his way to the Chiltern Firehouse, an exclusive venue in Marylebone, for the official after party.

He arrived at the club with an entourage of around 20 friends but they were all refused entry by the bouncer, according to the Irish Mirror.

After rowing with the bouncer, he made his way back to his car where he waited for an hour before his friend Fran Cutler intervened and managed to get Conor into the venue.

He and his friends stayed until around 6am, when they brought the party back to his hotel, according to the paper.

A photo of Conor and Rita Ora from earlier in the night caused a stir on social media over the week.

She shared the image of them looking close with the caption ‘Date night’ on Twitter, annoying fans who branded the tweet insulting to Conor’s girlfriend Dee Devlin.

A rep for Rita confirmed today that she meant nothing by the post.

“Date night is a figure of speech, Rita also posted selfies with Donatella Versace as her real date and one with Jourdan Dunn as her date,” the spokesperson said.
