Awkward! Was Pippa Middleton refused entry to Wimbledon’s Royal Box?

Apparently, the pair were late.

Well, that’s awkward.

With Pippa Middleton’s star shining brighter than ever thanks to her recent nuptials, being rejected from the royal box at Wimbledon would probably come as a bit of a blow.

Now while Pippa herself is not royalty, the royal box is usually the place where you would find royals, athletes and VIP guests, so it’s not a stretch to think Pippa and her mam would be sitting there.

However, arriving at Wimbledon for Andy Murray’s match against Benoit Paire, Pippa and her mam Carole were reportedly too late to get into the box.

Yes, reports suggest that the pair were turned away for arriving too late and were ‘forced’ to sit in the regular seating areas.

And if the reports are true, they missed out on a good crowd too – Vogue editor Anna Wintour and Roger Federer’s wife, Mirka were both sitting comfortably in VIP.

The Middletons wouldn’t be the first to be refused entry to the coveted royal box. In 2015, Lewis Hamilton arrived wearing a floral shirt, breaking the strict jacket and tie rules of the royal box, and was not permitted to sit there.
