Actor Ben Stiller and his wife Christine Taylor have confirmed that they have split.
The couple, who have been together for 17 years, have two children, Ella Olivia, 15 and Quinlin Dempsey, 12.
They first met while shooting a pilot for a new TV show and married shortly afterward in 2000. They have appeared in numerous on-screen projects together including Zoolander, Zoolander 2, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Tropic Thunder and Arrested Development.
They released a joint statement to E! News confirming the news of their split.
It read:
“With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate.
Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time.”
