As for Shannen Doherty, who played Brenda Walsh, Spelling says the cast would "love to have her" - although there is "no status right now." The original series ran for 10 seasons between 1990 and 2000. It starred Tori Spelling, Jenni Garth, Jason Priestley, and Luke Perry as students at a posh West Beverly Hills High School. The CW rebooted the series eight years later, under the name 90210. Spelling, Garth and Doherty all reprised their roles at points throughout its five season run.
