“I hope you all tune in.”

Iain Stirling has praised girlfriend Laura Whitmore ahead of tonight’s Love Island final.

The comedian and voiceover guy took to Twitter this morning to applaud Whitmore’s time on the show, as well as the contestants who took part on this year’s series.

“Big day today,” he wrote. “It’s the final of Love Island.

“I hope you all tune in. The contestants have been amazing this year.

“So a huge well done to all of them, the team that make the show what it is and of course Laura Whitmore for being more incredible than I could have ever imagined. X”

This comes after the tragic passing of former Love Island presenter Caroline Flack.

The 40 year old was found dead in her home last weekend, prompting a wave of urges from her friends, family, and fans to be kinder to those in the public eye.

Following her death, friend and colleague Laura Whitmore said that a show like Love Island was important to Caroline because she “loved to love.”

She has since said that ahead of tonight’s show, she wants the public to share their love to all of the remaining islanders.

“So many emotions ahead of the Live Final tomorrow from 9pm,” she wrote. “Been a tough week, let’s give all the love to the islanders. Who’s your favourite couple?”

The winners of the first series of Winter Love Island will be crowned tonight.

Either Paige and Finn, Jess and Ched, Luke T and Siannise, or Luke M and Demi will walk away with the coveted £50,000 prize, eventually deciding whether they want to split the money between them, or run away with the whole lot.

The latter never happens though, just an FYI.

The final of Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
