Blake Lively was honoured at an event in New York on Friday. The event was Variety’s New York Power of Women and Blake was there because of for her fight against child pornography.
The other women honoured at the event included Jessica Chastain, Audra McDonald, Gayle King, Chelsea Clinton and Shari Redstone.
While on the red carpet, Blake gave out to one reporter over a question she asked her about her fashion.
Maeve McDermott, a reporter from USA Today who witnessed the whole thing, explained that Blake said:
“Really? At this event, you’re asking me about my outfit? Seriously…Would you ask a man that? I’m here so we become more aware, and that we change, and that we build a women up. So, you can ask me another question.”
She caught some of her response on camera and shared it to Twitter:
