There are so many films on TV on a weekly basis, we thought we would draw your attention to some of the better movies that you can check out from the comfort of your own home. Here are seven of the best films that are on TV this week.
1. The Summit, Monday, RTÉ One, 9.35pm.
Perhaps one of the best and most interesting documentaries from the last few years, The Summit tells the story of an Irish climber who was wrongfully accused of causing the deaths of climbers on K2.
2. Meet the Parents, Tuesday, BBC Three, 8pm.
The first in what turned out to be a reasonably bad trilogy is actually a pretty good film, particularly because of the appearance of Robert De Niro.
3. Tron Legacy, Wednesday, BBC Three, 8pm.
It certainly wasn't as good as we were expecting it to be but with a killer soundtrack, some amazing visuals and the wonderful Olivia Wilde, Tron Legacy is still pretty entertaining.
4. Quantum of Solace, Thursday, ITV2, 8pm.
The second of the Daniel Craig films is still a tour de force for the new blonde Bond. This is just good action at its best. Perhaps not as good as Skyfall but nearly there.
5. Falling for a Dancer, Friday, TV3, 9pm.
One of the first appearances for Colin Farrell, Falling for a Dancer tells the story of young Elizabeth who falls for an actor but is forced to marry a middle-aged man.
6. Zoolander, Saturday, Film 4, 6.15pm
If you haven't seen Zoolander already, we would suggest you get right on that. Ben Stiller plays Zoolander, a male model who is being shown up by new kid on the block, Hansel.
7. A Hard Day's Night, Sunday, BBC Four, 7.35pm
One of the Beatles original films and one of the best, A Hard Day's Night documents a typical day for the Liverpool foursome.
