Matt Damon has confirmed that he will return to the Bourne franchise for the fourth time.
The 44-year-old was forced to confirm that he would reprise his role as Jason Bourne after Ben Affleck let it slip on the red carpet to E! News.
Damon, who plays rogue agent Jason Bourne, a spy who lost any memory of who he is but yet seems to know exactly how to handle himself in fights and under pressure, will begin filming his fourth instalment next year.
"It'll be in 2016 when the movie will actually come out," Damon said.
"Paul Greengrass is going to do another one and that's all I ever said. I just needed him to say yes".
