Bring your Christmas party to the ski slopes: Après Dublin is HERE

Unlike any festive-worthy party you've ever been to.

Anna O'Rourke

If you thought you’d have to hit the slopes of Europe to get in on the après ski craic, think again.

Anyone else a bit fed up of the standard work Christmas party?

If kicking off the party season in a crowded pub or drab hotel ballroom (like every other year, so) has you yawning, you might want to check out this UNREAL new pop-up that’s landing in Dublin.

Yes, après ski is coming to Ireland for the first time ever… and it looks seriously class.

Custom House Quay will be transformed into a ski resort – complete with a giant custom-built ski lodge for a night out with a difference.

Grab a table in the Lodge (a fully decked out 30m x 30m wooden structure with room for more than 1,500 people) and sample street food options including gourmet beef burgers, German sausages, fish and chips, and turkey burgers (all served until 9.30pm every night) as well as a selection of après platters and festive drinks.

There’ll also be a full band and DJ every evening, a ski lift photo booth with loads of retro ski costume, ski-themed games, plus snow machines.

There are three bars set up serving beer, stout, red and white wine, mulled wine, gin, and soft drinks.

And as well as the Lodge, the adjacent Après Village has foodie stalls doling out hot drinks, churros, gourmet beef burgers, and authentic German sausages, not to mention an Insta-worthy inflatable snow globe that you can climb into for Yuletide pics.

Kicking off on November 30, the Après Lodge will open from 5.30pm each night, while the Après Village is open from noon.
