There was one act that stood out by a mile on this evening’s Britain’s Got Talent – the Missing People’s Choir.
If you’re familiar with the audition stages of this year’s show, you’ll remember how the choir moved both the judges and the people at home to tears, and tonight’s performance was even more poignant.
They decided to sing Birdy’s Wings with the emotional rendition made even more heartrending as images of the missing people appeared on the screen behind the choir.
The candlelit tribute was simply beautiful and had a massive impact on viewers as you’ll see from the below tweets.

Not only that, their performance has landed them a place in Saturday’s final alongside comedian Daliso Chaponda.
