Britain's Got Talent fans will absolutely love this X Factor news
This could go one way or the other.
The X Factor ratings have been flailing in recent times and in a bid to shake things up, producers are said to be planning a complete revamp.
While that information isn't very surprising, it is a bit of a shock to hear that the show's bosses reportedly want to introduce a format similar to Britain's Got Talent.
This would mean one 'big' week of live finals as we are accustomed to with BGT.
Not only is the talent show a massive success but it's also believed that part of the reasoning behind the change could be to suit the judges.
Sharon Osbourne had to commute from America for much of the last series while Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger also have work commitments stateside.

A source told The Sun:
'The X Factor executives feel it needs a shake-up with big changes to the format.
"They have been discussing having just a few weeks of live shows — so people get to know the singers — and then one big finals week.
"They think viewers would prefer one week of great TV, with star performers".
In response to the reports, a spokesperson for The X Factor said that while no decisions have been made yet, "discussions are ongoing" with further details to be announced in due course.
That sounds promising...
