Tonight though, it's Cain who's in for a bit of a guilt-fuelled shock when he learns that Joe was actually on the way back to the village to be with his daughter, Debbie, when he punched him.
Cain questions Moira about her questionable showdown with Graham, searching for some answers, only to discover that Joe wasn't leaving the Dales at all - he was returning.
Moira then plays Cain a voicemail from Joe essentially solidifying the whole scenario and making him feel even worse.
It probably won't be as bad as he'll feel next week though when he has to tell Debbie what happened.
