Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford have welcomed their first child.
A source confirmed the news to E!, saying: “Carey has given birth to a healthy and happy baby. She is just enjoying this time with her family and close friends”.
The couple, who married in 2012, are very private and have not yet revealed the sex of their baby.

Carey made her first public appearance since the birth when she attended the British Film Institute’s London Film Festival on Wednesday.
Speaking about her new film Sufragette, Carey said: “It is a film to mark the achievements of what these women did and what they gave us but also to highlight where we are in the world.
“We still live in a society that is sexist and that goes throughout history”.
