It’s a Christmas miracle!
Nobody spreads Christmas cheer quite like Buddy the Elf. According to Variety, the cast of our favourite Christmas movie ‘Elf‘ are reuniting this festive season for a live table read.
On December 13, the whole gang including (of course) Will Ferrell who played Buddy, Zooey Deschanel, who played Buddy’s love interest Jovie, Bob Newhart aka Papa Elf, and Edward Asner, who portrayed Santa Claus will conduct a live table read of the film, hosted by comedian Ashley Nicole Black.
The reunion hopes to raise cash for the Georgia Democratic Party ahead of the January 5th Senate runoff elections.
Taking to Twitter to express her excitement Zooey Deschanel said, “If I were any more excited to be in the #ElfForGeorgia reunion I might explode into a burst of snowflakes.”

If you’ve yet to see Elf, then you’re in for a treat. Directed by Jon Favreau, the film follows the story of Buddy the Elf who, after discovering he is human, travels from the North Pole to New York City to locate his real father. As you can imagine, hilarity ensues.
Although this news is not the sequel we’ve been dreaming of, it’s certainly something.
